Youth
Youth ministry is a critical part of the vision we have for reaching this generation with the life-changing power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Working in conjunction with student-led teams from Elim Bible Institute in Lima, NY, we have a weekly program geared to reach teens from 7th - 12th grades. The name of the Youth Group is "Altared."
The Wednesday night youth group is more topically-oriented. It is designed to address the issues of the day that teens routinely face such as how to handle peer pressure, how to live lives of purity and purpose, and how to find God's purpose for their lives. The main goal of the youth program is to introduce every teen to Jesus Christ and help them to develop lasting, strong relationships with Him. Fellowship, activities and prayer are also part of the ongoing ministry among the youth.
Helping the youth to pursue a life of moral purity, integrity of character
and dependence on God are the key ingredients of our youth program.
